Muzo Habit is a sound collage which is characterized by a complex series of relationships between objects, orientation, and origin. It was composed in tandem in the winter of 2020 through a series of source exchanges between two dedicated field recordists.

Icy stretches of electroacoustic improvisation are obscured by opaque layers of ambient tape music, minimal electronics, and environmental ephemera. Jagged remnants of setting, of sentiment, of story, remain in fleeting acoustic cues like these, but are quickly exchanged, one after the other, creating a variegated, shimmering polymorphic piece.

Knowth is a transatlantic field recording project that operates from both Cork, Ireland and Chicago, Illinois. All sounds were recorded or created by Nicholas Maloney and Andy Klingensmith. All tracks were composed by the authors with exchanged and/or arranged materials.
