Standard Grey is a Canadian in Nara, Japan who makes ambient, drone, concrète and field recording-based sound work. His tapes appear on labels such as Metaphysical Circuits, Midnight Circles, and Tandem Tapes. He is a frequent contributor to Framework Radio, the Norelco Mori podcast, and previously served as art director for Muzan Editions.
